4. Discuss the different situations when the communication exists.
We must know that there will always
have to be a transmitter that seeks to communicate something to a specific
receiver and the latter will give feedback to the transmitter to know if it
understood correctly what was being made known.
5. “Communication is an exchange of facts, ideas, opinions and emotions by
two or more persons.” Explain the statement and discuss the role of feedback in
communication.
It is important since
only then will we know if we can communicate correctly and be able to listen to
what the other person has to say (be a good listener)
6. “Communication is the two-way process.” Explain.
As it is an exchange of opinions,
feelings, etc., both parties have the same right to make their point of view
known and thus avoid any type of misunderstanding.
7. Discuss the elements of communication process.
·
Sender or
transmitter: Sender
initiates the message and changes the behavior of the receiver.
·

It may involve any fact, idea, opinion,
or information
·

communicator of the information organizes his idea into series of symbols in
this way, he feels will communicate to the intended receiver
·

through which the message passes.
·
Receiver: The person
who receives the message is called receiver or receiver is the person to whom
the particular message is sent by the transmitter.
·
Decoding

encoded message into the understandable meaning.
·
Feedback: For the
exchange to be complete the information must go back to whom from where it
started
·
Brain drain: On whole
process there is a possibility of misunderstandings at any level, we
could say that it is breakdown of cycle at any level.
8. Give three examples of brain drain in communication process.
·
A very common
situation could be when the dates are misunderstood.
·
When you
have to send a confirmation email to a provider but there is no communication
about WHO will do it, and this makes everyone think that someone else did it
and in the end the email is never sent causing internal problems.

Excellent job, Adriana! I totally agree with you about the part when you said "communication is the ability to correctly communicate ideas, opinions and even feelings." If you can't communicate, you're not able to share to others what you think.
